Our Advocacy

Kidney Australia (KA) is committed to giving back to the community, both locally and globally, through its advocacy efforts. Recognising the need to support patients suffering from kidney disease, KA has pledged to:

  • Donate $100 to Kidney Health Australia for every patient treated by KA, supporting local initiatives and research.
  • Allocate a portion of its profits to Medical Missions in the Philippines (and in another country in the future), providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities.

  • Support the Medical Foundation of selected Universities in the Philippines, such as Centro Escolar University and University of Baguio, through donations, fostering a strong partnership and contributing to the advancement of medical education and research.

KA's advocacy efforts are driven by a sense of urgency to address the growing need for high-level care in the Philippines, where resources and support are limited. By giving back to the community, KA aims to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families affected by kidney disease, both in Australia and abroad.

Through its partnership with My Pathfinder (MPF), KA is able to extend its reach and support to the Philippines, with plans to expand to other countries in the future. This collaboration enables KA to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, while promoting its mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
