All about Home Care

; andKidney Australia is committed to providing high-quality home-based dialysis services, empowering patients to manage their kidney disease in the comfort of their own homes. To achieve this, we are dedicated to training and supporting our nursing staff to deliver safe and effective care.

Our Registered Nurses (RNs) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) will undergo robust training, conducted by our experienced Training and Education Manager, who has:

  • Two decades of experience in dialysis care; and
  • Qualified training certification

This comprehensive training will equip our nursing staff to confidently administer either home-based haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

At Kidney Australia, we value and support our staff, recognising and commending high performers. We foster a positive work environment, encouraging our team members to grow professionally and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Moreover, we invite our staff to join us in our advocacy efforts. Giving back to the community both in Australia (supporting Kidney Health Australia) and overseas (supporting the medical foundations of selected universities in the Philippines). In future, we plan to expand our advocacy efforts in another country. We will also encourage our carers to extend their services in medical missions to treat patients with End Stage Renal Disease in the Philippines. By working together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by kidney disease.

Join Kidney Australia's team of dedicated healthcare professionals and be part of our mission to deliver exceptional home-based dialysis care.
